From working with many kitchens, we’ve found that a typical gummy mixture has a density of about 1.4 grams per milliliter.

This means your gummy will weigh 1.4 times more than water for the same volume.

To figure out your gummy’s weight, just multiply the mold cavity volume by 1.4.

For example, if your mold holds 3ml (milliliters)

Example: 3 ml x 1.4 = 4.2 gram per gummy
